anyone grown summer purple sprouting broccoli?

i got some seeds of summer purple sprouting broccoli from t&m, is it really ready to harvest in december if sown in june?

I grew it last year - sown early Spring, planted out April/May and harvested throughout the summer. It was brilliant and I'm growing it again this year. Haven't tried growing it for a December harvest, but it does grow really quickly.

thanks rustylady, im going to try a few plants sown now and a few more in june. theres not too much info on the net for it, the t&m packet says it can be harvested in winter but im guessing thats going to take some luck and good timing to have it for december.

or you could freeze it until December?
