First in The Field Tomatoes

Hi, Can anyone tell me whether they have grown this variety and their opinions on it please. I purchased two this morning and they are lovely stocky looking plants. Bought them because it said they were excellent for outdoors. Just would like to know what people think !

Please let us know what First in the field turns out like. Are you growing them as bushes, outside?

I am slightly confused now as i bought them for outdoors like they said. My confusion is tho, from what i read they were bush ones which don't need the shoots removing but on the label i have since seen at garden centres it says to pinch out side shoots.

Does that make sense
What should i do then. Pinch or no Pinch

Looks like all the references say bush. I'd question the garden centre if they are giving that info out, as to where they got it from

It was on the little labels that come in the pots, the staff didn't actually tell me that, so they might not even know themselves.
Bought two of them so i could always experiment and try both methods

I bought one of these last week and curious as to how they worked out.
How did your crop grow Chuckles?

I have grown these a few times and have always had good results outside . They are a nice robust tomato and if I remember quite good tasting. I dithered about growing them this year but am keen to try some other varieties.
