A quick "what size" question!

For the first time ever I would like to grow a tumbling tom plant (or rather magically I appear to have bought one and now need to do something with it )

anyway, I would like to plant it in a basket with my strawberry and wild strawberry plants.

What size hanging basket should I be getting?

I'm very confused

14" should accomodate 1 x Tumbler and 1 x Strawberry and perhaps 2 x wild strawberry plants.

yeah I didn't really think it through when I got the plant

that said, I only have a back yard so have lots and lots of watering/feeding anyway as everything is in tubs/pots/etc

thankfully I've had an outside tap fitted this year which'll make things easier!

right, when I was in the shop I forgot what you'd said size wise and made a guess at 16" and that's what I've got

I thought it was 14" but thought better to be safe than sorry It's lovely, I've never had a hanging basket before so I'm really excited

Will be planting this weekend - bringing it in at signs of frost though as the tom is still quite tiny

Easily cram another strawberry into that:-D

If you've any fleece or an old towel you could cover the basket at night and leave it outside.

BTW a 16" basket will be VERY heavy. Water it once you have hung it on a good strong bracket.
