    You can cut off leaves without harming the plant, I had to last year as some leaves were just a bit too crazy and I needed to get to my beans

      Last year I grew all green bush and another variety (Gold Rush) - the All Green Bush were noticeable more vigorous. I grew AGB in 26l trugs and that was probably OK but nothing smaller. The Gold Rush were much more compact and not much less productive. So the moral of the story is - if growing in containers or limited space, choose a compact variety!!
      Warning: I have a dangerous tendency to act like I know what I'm talking about.
