A little tip when sowing Onion seeds if you want smaller than usual i sow Onion seed in cell's put 3, 4, or 5 seed's per cell and when you plant out leave them as is and and you grow bunch's of Onion's not quite as big as normal just right for stew's....jacob

Am trying this this year with an italian onion called ramata, They have germinated and I may transplant the cells into 5" pots before finally planting out on the lottie.

No need to plant them straight in to the plot when ready mine will go in when ready they will survive....jacob
