    I've been looking at online stores to buy some of my pots/trays etc but cant decide best place to use???

      If you've got a resonably sheltered part, I'd recommend sweetcorn (assuming you like it, that is!). Also second French beans - more reliable than runners for me over the last few years and some varieties can be picked fresh or left to dry for a winter veg.

        I've had loads of free pots and trays from places like B&Q and Wyvale. Lots of garden centres now have an area where they put the pots out for re-cycling and you can just help yourself. I've also had a load of used pots from kind people on Freecycle
        My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there
