Heated Propogater

Hi all. We were given a heated propogater for Christmas and was wondering what we could sow now? We have some onion seeds in which are just emerging. Any ideas?

I have just started off some chillis, peppers, aubergines and tomatoes in mine on sunday and some are coming up already

I did the same as Kimbo but nothing has come up in mine yet I don't do patience very well

Good idea Kimbo. I'll get some chilli seeds in but may wait a few weeks before sowing tomatoes. I have limited space to grow on and think the chilli's will benefit more than tomatoes from the longer growing time.

Xandra - I'm sure something will germinate! I have the same problem with patience - zero!

I start chillies at Christmas duggie but always wait until March for toms. The chillies don't seem to mind the longer growing time in low light conditions but I find there is nothing to gain with toms. The later planted ones always catch up and don't go leggy.

Another early bird on here I must get out of here soon; got loads to do and have a friend coming over for some company, I need to have my weekend tidy up around the house. I want to get as much done as I can this morning!

Have planted leeks and parsnips. Both of which are up anf thriving. They both take a long growing period and I had some excellant results when starting them of earlier last year. I won't be planting them out yet though as I feel it is still to cold. Care must be taken with their roots when transplanting. Hope this helps.
