shallot seeds

is anyone planning to sow shallot seeds as in dec issue of gyo. im looking to do some tomorrow. and when are people sowing onion seed

Hoping to do some onions today or tomorrow. Don't have any shallot seed though - have sets saved from my crops this year - will plant those out late February.

really enjoyed planting tom seeds yesterday, even though it ws -3 outside,
looking forward to onions tomorrow,
i went to the garden centre today to get some and guess what,
THEY HAD NO SEEDS AT ALL
only left over christmas decorations,
so needless to say i went to another one and got 2 different varieties, a new greenhouse heater, parafin, some more seed trays, some bird food,
ALL I NEEDED WAS ONION SEEDS
looking forwrd to planting them tomorrow
it is now -4 here today
