Mine is starting to flower is it worth nipping flower heads off or forget it?

Broccoli raab heads don't grow very large. It's not proper broccoli, or even anything close. The heads will grow to an inch across if you are lucky. You're meant to pick it with several inches of stem and the attached leaves, too, and eat the whole lot.

So long as they aren’t in full bloom then I’m happy to eat the whole top bit- leaves and stem included as ameno mentions.

In reality, I can’t see why you couldn’t make soup with the ones in flower….
