  • Withering tom leaves

I have no idea what this is but it can't be blight as we have had such a long heatwave and only 2 days of rain. Also, it has been inside the greenhouse. I cut this leaf off but just wondering what has caused it, perhaps water splash ? I am playing it safe for futureproofing against blight by feeding with dissolved Epsom salts and will spray foliage with dissolved aspirin. I will also remove about half the leaves from the bottom of the plants.

Your plants look good in the photo. Whereabouts on the plant did the leaf come from? Top, bottom, in the middle? Are there more like it?

Looks like old age to me. The oldest leaves will start withering like that. It's natural.

Ok, thanks. That's some relief as it is now getting quite humid. This was a plant out of shot that I think was from the lower part. The ones you can see are not really potted into full size pots because there isn't any room. I'm placing some in the borders in pots so the roots can go through into the soil.
