I mean, that's probably exactly the problem: limited supply. It's basic supply and demand, after all.

I found out that Trago were not stocking it anymore back in January, and at the time did some digging around online and was able to find some places which sold 20kg bags for around £15 each. I made a note of it, but decided not to buy any yet as I still had about 10kg left from last year. But here we are now and all such cheaper deals have completely disappeared. I should have ordered some back then...

More demand at this time of year maybe, ameno? Perhaps the price will drop when the spring rush ends. Is buy one now, more later feasible?

Do you trek all the way from zummerzat to Drumbridges/Stover to visit Trago's?

On Amazon, Rocket Grow 2X20lts £26.98 organic chicken manure, = to £0.67 per KG, but think its powder rather than pellets
Theres also Marriages everyday layers pellets £17.57 = to £0.88p per KG
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

That one's chicken feed (literally), not allotment feed.

Might be worth looking into fish/blood/bone instead?

The blood, fish and bone that I get seems to have far more phosphorus than nitrogen or potassium though.

I have relatives in Falmouth whom I visit three times a year. So we can pop into Newton Abbot or Liskeard on the way, plus Falmouth Trago.

Surely if you scatter it over the ground it cut out the middle man

Oops. Evidently I should pay more attention to the advertising blurb
