Used my first new potatoes yesterday and actually found them to be quite tasty, I have never really found potatoes to have much of a taste

Congrats rary - they must be the earliest earlies on the vine!

I'm very jealous as ours haven't even got to earthing up stage yet - although they didn't go in the ground until 27 April so I've a little more patience to find yet

Lifted more potatoes today, not as tasty as the first ones, but had lifted them this morning and left them sitting in the sun not sure if this would effect the taste but will see if there's any difference the next time I lift some as I will lift and use strait away

congrats ameno I spotted some starting to blush-up at the weekend so am hoping we might have some to pick this weekend. The plants are taking over a bit this year & we've got to get in there to do some weeding so a few to snack on during proceedings would be lovely
