            • Black knight runners, my first blue lake French beans, a courgette, greengages, sungold, sweet baby, sweet aperitif, honeycomb and sweet millions cherry toms, more cucumbers, delistar and an unknown ridge that was sold as mini munch

              And...

My first ever peaches! There was two of them and they were absolutely delicious, and what they say is true, you should only eat tree fresh peaches naked in the bath, so much juice!

Thanks, I'd love a market garden!! Haha!
I just love sowing seeds and get carried away every year sowing way too much for just me, so now I give my excess to the village shop to sell on and they donate it to charity Lots of us do it and it makes me feel good.

                    • Some pears and peaches. But really they're a bit too hard for us. The boar clearly doesn't mind, though.

Oh, and a few tiny blackberries for Jack. I expected them to be plumper this year after all the spring rain, but they're all tiny.

                              • Harvested another bag of first earlies, ate some for dinner, the rest wrapped in newspaper & in the hessian bag. Picked a tub of blackberries, soaked for a few mins in salt & a white tiny wormy bug was swimming about,I put the berries in a bag in the freezer to kill off whatever they are,if theres any still inside the fruit. Are they that fruit fly that infest healthy fruit,I think I’ll always have to cook them 🧐
