        Thanks very much, Tattieman. It certainly answers my question as to why they didn't seem very big.

          Thanks for this thread, I ordered from Thompson and Morgan exactly the same as usual , but for some reason they have sent them out at least 6 weeks earlier than ever before. Think I'll store them in the attic room this seems to store my veg well for eating so hopefully will be the right temperature.

            Above freezing and below 6 degrees and you should be fine

                  Thought I'd let you know that the Potatoes that arrived in Dec and I was panicking would rot have all survived intact.
                  Thanks for all the storing advice you gave me. All are in their trays ready to chit and not one casualty.
