      Red salad bowl
      Green salad bowl
      Frisee de Beauregard
      All year round
      Lollo rossa
      Little gem
      Land cress

          • Smallblueplanet the seeds are on a north-ish facing windowsill, I’ve found it’s bright enough for lettuce without it being to hot.

            • I've got a seed tray with Bunyards Matchless on a north facing window sill, but that's it with regards to lettuce so far.
              Land cress and lambs lettuce I just let self seed on the allotment (land cress is absolutely everywhere)

              • Melanie I also have land cress popping up all over my garden but i also sow a sew seeds just in case there aren't many self seeded plants this time.

                  • The first batch of Bunyards Matchless seedlings has been planted out. It's a cos-type heritage variety, but with more open heads. Quite hardy.

                              • Have several mixed lettuce plants just potted on, so decided to try three or four outside and under a sun tunnel, I also have a small polly tunnel covering one of my raised beds so going to try some in that also.
                                it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                                Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
