  • Sweet Pepper Tasty Mix All Seasons

My first Sweet Pepper, Black Knight has finally ripened. They are described as long peppers, this one isn't long, it's about 3 inches.
Is it ready to be picked or will it grow bigger?
How would you cook to savour your first sweet pepper success?

Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs! https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...lies/smile.gif

I either eat sweet peppers raw or sliced on top of a pizza

Same as Burnie, also chop them up in salads and throw them into a stirfry.
Sometimes fry them with mushrooms and onions as a serving of mixed veg.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

It’ll darken more if left longer, that looks like the in between colour change, they go like that then blacker, black,it might still be a bit green inside, although there’s nothing wrong with green it’s sweeter when fully changed colour. I eat raw in salad or roast with some courgette or pizza topping.
