seed packets how many ?

ive just has a sort thru my seed box and ive counted 61 packets of seed

so how many do you have in yours

At least twice as many as I could possibly need......................but I'm about to order some more............just in case.

I'm not going to count them all now, but don't worry Hawthorns that's just a little weekend habit...I moved into full blown addict territory a few years back! If I include the flowers and all the saved seed I know there must be over two hundred packets jars and paperbags full....and I haven't ordered any yet!

funny that.... ive just been going through the T&M 2009 catalouge, came back inside to check on new threads and here we are well including veg,flower and saved seed ive got opps 141 packets (hope OH doesnt read this) erm i think i need to rethink my seed order...oh bugger it what the hell whats another 20 odd when ive got that many

I just counted 58 packets of seed I knew it was bad cos i keep promising myself "no more seed" an then i find just one more packet i 'NEED'.

i've been very good and put all my excess seeds into the new seed parcels, and i grew loads of stuff for the novelty factor that i'd never eaten before ........ and didn't like most of it ....... so for next year, i have reduced it to 4 varieties of carrots, 4 leeks, 4 onions, broccoli, caulis, parsnips, swede, turnip, cucumbers lots of tomatoes, and plenty of courgette and squash ....... no point in wasting all that seed box space ....

I probably have 350 to 400 packets, and still need to buy some for next season. I ran across a good seed deal and bought 200+ at the end of this season. I am ready for trading I guess. I am doubling my main garden from 15' by 100' to approximately 35' by 120'. I will be busy.

I had quite a few packets of seed last year where the seed was still in date........but duff. The annoying thing about this is that sometimes, after you realise you've planted duff seed you've usually missed the planting window.
With this in mind, apart from my self saved seed and a few expensive packets which weren't opened I intend buying all fresh seed this year.

Iv'e just had a count up and found 82 packs of veggie seeds and 1 pack of flower seeds. What is worrying is how many are still sealed, that tells me that i never did everything i wanted to do this year. Never mind, it'll just have to wait till next spring, although i will probably have to buy some more parsnip seed due to viability. Heck i'll probably buy loads more.

i have five sweetie tins with seeds in them, hate to actually count them, but strangely enough i was going to try to sort them out today but instead went shopping for DD's xmas pressie. i think at the last count i had 28 different peppers/chillis.

seeds....love em, i buy seeds instead of shoes now, so at least i;m saving money

According to my database I have 150, but some will have more than one packet.
