What I intend to do today or tomorrow number2

Today/tomorrow:

Put together our new double blow-away.
Get some seeds that have chitted into compost.
Sow some Cabbage seed.
Put some Parsnip & Lettuce seed to chit.

If the weather plays nicely for us to hit the plot on Saturday, the wish list is:

Tidy/compost old annual flowers & dead weeds by the boundary.
Try to snag a keyholder to open the Shed Shop & buy compost & chicken manure pellets.
Cut back Autumn Raspberry.
Hopefully discover the Spring Cabbage have survived winter & adjust the net (gone a bit droopy).
Have a good look at the 'Summer' PSB that was sown too late last year - pull up & compost if it's not been tricked it into thinking it should produce this Spring instead.
Check on Welsh Onions to see if they've overwintered.
Argue with OH about where we should put our mini wildlife pond (he'll come around to my way of thinking eventually but likes to say 'no' first lol).
Other general tidying up.

I'd like to empty at least 1 dalek, divide & move a big clump of Rhubarb, plant up Strawberry bags & lay membrane on a weedy section at the top of the plot but I know those are all unlikely to happen.

Well, so much for my big list of plans - we had unexpected visitors arrive just as we were planning to leave for the plot (who visits gardeners on the first dry weekend day in ages for heavens sake lol)

We did however do the 'at home' jobs: put together our new double blow-away (a job & a half - & there's a darn tear in the cover), get the seeds that had chitted into compost and sow/chit some more stuff.

All the plot stuff has now rolled-over to this coming weekend's plan (weather permitting)
