white flies on sprouts

I have two rather pathetic brussels sprouts plants, and whenever I water them or move them, they errupt in a flurry of little white flies, which kind of hop off.

Any ideas what they are?

Do not worry Sara you can not taste them and there ain't alot you can do about them jacob marley
