  • Pointy Red Peppers

My peppers are looking lovely and large but are still green. Do i pick them now or do I have to wait for them to turn red?

Sorry to sound stupid.... but am very new at this.

If you want red then leave them on. Mine were green for ages now one out of the 6 on one plant has started to turn so hopefully the others wont be far behind! The rest of the plants are still green.

    Have you fed the plants?

        Hi,

I feed mine like the tomatoes, once flowers have formed, once a week and with Tom feed. Dont forget the compost you potted them into doesnt last that long as far as nutrients is concerned, something like 3 weeks i think.

Cronnie, you can leave your peppers to turn red, but the plant won't make any more peppers. I go for 2 crops. I cut the first flush green then leave the second flush to go red.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
