When I was setting my tatties I ran out of sets so put 3 supermarket eaters in to finish off the row.
Today I took 2 roots up 1 was the early (Swift) and the other was one from the supermarket eaters just call British whites, growing next to each other.
On peeling them I found that the Swift were half eaten away by slugs as they all have been
, yet the supermarket root had 6 good potatos at it and not a mark on them,
Any ideas the reason why ?

When you order your seed potatoes, the description will usually say if they are slug resistant, but they won't bother to tell you if slugs are partial to them - not a good sales pitch
