Pea Beans

Has anyone else tried growing these. Being new to veggies, I ordered 'different' items from a seed catalogue including these. The sounded interesting at the time, but the packet doesn't mention how tall they grow. Would I grow them in a wigwam style do you think?

That's the ones! Looks like 4 poles in a 2ft size wigwam will do it, 2-3 plants on each pole.

I use either 6ft or 7 ft poles - I have a selection of both and it's usually a question of which size I can find 6 unused ones!

I got mine from Pennard Plants Seeds, Eclectic Victorian Vegetable Seed from Pennard Plants.

I buy mine from the Organic Gardening Catalogue and grow them up a couple of 'wigwams' of 6ft canes. They're also called the Yin Yang bean as the brown and white areas (supposedly) look like the Chinese symbol... never been able to see it myself.

Just grow them like runner beans.
