Garlic growing

Thanks for the info about the scapes SBP. Don''t think I've got any but will be looking out for them and will know for the future. Learning everyday.

My autum garlic started to die back last week so I pulled it all up, nice big cloves that are now drying (and stinking the greenhouse out). Normal advice is the end of July but I guess it depends on when you planted it, soil, weather and a whole host of things that makes for when its ready. If in doubt dig back the soil and see how your clump is doing.
