Chilli pepper seedlings too wet?

Some of my chilli pepper seedlings have gone a bit 'funny' on their leaves. They look a bit 'transparent' and shrivelled. I think it may be due to them being in the heated prop and being too wet? I've taken them out the prop and onto the windowsill now.

No idea SBP looks kind of a beginning of burned leaf sign but I might be wrong.
My peppers (roccotos and anaheim) are that size too but they have been at the windowsill soon after germinated.

at that size, are they still in the heated propagator? Maybe best to take them out! They're quite big, they don't need to be in there surely...okay they grow faster but maybe best not to push it. Mine gets taken out quickly and repotted for hardening and even though they're small, they're looking nice and healthy seedlings and allowed to grow in their own sweet time.

Ah thats what it reminded me of - when plant leaves get windburn, you sometimes see it on tom leaves planted outside.

I'd left them in the prop (with the lid off for light) because there's also some smaller seedlings growing that needed a bit of bottom heat.

Just take them out for safety reason an set them by the windowsill free from frost. As long as their temperature don't differs too much they will be ok

They're out, they're out, okay! They'll be fine, just made me a bit nervous. I knew peppers don't like being too wet, but I thought they were okay.....serves me right for trying to molly-coddle a little aji cito seedling that's only 1" high!

Was that from 100 vegetables recommendations SBP ?

Actually it was a lucky dip off ebay, $1 for a pepper catalogue and two random pkts of seeds.

Do you water from the bottom or the top, possible drop of water on the leaf that has been caught by the sun?

I wondered that too PaulW, they got quite damp overnight in the prop, with condensation on the leaves, also I'm a bit cack-handed when watering!
