. But things are getting better as I'm finding ways of cramming more in. As it's my first time with heated propagator I started off with 11-12 of 3" pots at any one time
and the germination was pathetic and low. I'm now using a shallow plastic dish that came with Tiramisu (only just over an inch deep) and sow a good assortments of seeds but I do them in neat rows and rough columns so that I know roughly which seeds are which as I note them down. The result is almost instantaneous, okay it feels like that but about 4-5 days onwards. I'm going to transfer the stubborn peppers and aubgerines to this shallow dish. I hoick out using teaspoon or a handy Japanese chopstick any that has germinated before others to transfer them to individual 3" pot if necessary. I'm quite pleased with my techniques and strategy so don't feel the need to get a 2nd propagator and my house says no anyway on space/storage ground
