Mangetout

Never grown them before . What are they like to grow? Like doing runner beans ?

The ones I've grown have been more like sugar snaps than mangetout, and never grown as tall as runner beans. Much shorter in stature. Delicious too - not many made it into the kitchen

Like growing peas except the pods are flat and can be eaten.
Come in a variety of heights - just like all peas and beans do.
They grow like peas, with tendrils to wind around wire/netting/bushy twigs - they don't climb up canes as beans do.
