In the unheated greenhouse I sowed lettuce, radish, rocket and spring onions in the last week of September then white radish 1st October the only no show has been the spring onions I have used the rocket and lettuce and on checking them this morning they are still growing well even though the temperature has been below zero several nights, so it would be worthwhile sowing in your cold frame or keep checking at the supermarkets for living salad leaves I think lidl would be the best bet, and remember to harden off any plants that you are moving outside
