I put kitchen scraps in my rotating composter and agree it’s the closest you’re ever going to get to a rat proof composter. Besides the rotating composter gets stuff broken down incredibly quickly into compost which won’t be attractive to rodents. The worms might cook though.

I've never had any problems with worms cooking in mine. Quite the opposite, in fact. The compost is always full of them when I empty it out, despite only leaving a couple of spadefuls of the old compost in each time to "seed" the next batch.Originally posted by muck lover View PostI put kitchen scraps in my rotating composter and agree it’s the closest you’re ever going to get to a rat proof composter. And I get three loads a year from it, so it's not like it's slow, either.
