What new veg/fruit etc are you growing this year?

3) Having had encouraging results from the Emir melons, I'm doing them again plus trying Arava as well.

Emir have been winners for me and for Baldy too if I remember rightly.

I'm lucky, I was given some unusual (for me) seeds for Christmas. So I'm trying:

Bijou sugarsnap peas
Kalettes
White kale
Yard long beans

I've also got an apricot in a pot.

New to my plot will be peas - a purple podded mange tout named Shiraz.
Also growing sweet peppers (elephant ear, corno di torro rosso), tomatoes (Marmande, cour di Bue, Roma) and melons (petit Gris de Rennes, Jenny Lind) all to be grown outdoors which may fail spectacularly but I feel is worth a punt as success with this lot would be amazing!
