Today I harvested - 2019

My first ripe tomato...Tumbler closely followed by Maskota.
Strawberries.
Raspberries.
Garlic chives.
Mixed salad leaves.
Potatoes, Pentland Javlin.

4 courgettes
Miscellaneous Mangetout
1 Asparagus spear
Random raspberries

All eaten by yours truly although I did let the dogs have a mangetout each.

A big bunch of rhubarb from the garden for my two lovely colleagues. They love it

4 lettuce, handful of pea shoots and couple of handfuls of radish seed pods.

Today, I harvested some more cut-&-come-again lettuce & some wild rocket. And some coriander

Radish, 3 lettuce, Spring onions, black & red currents, raspberries, gooseberries, broccoli, turnip, swede, first few peas, mangetout & sugarsnaps.

This is so exciting seeing what everyone else is harvesting
We've waited months to get to this stage haven't we?

First earlies (a few small Lady Christl and some others we got free)
Japanese onions - sets sown in autumn, nice size now
Garlic - left it drying in the North West sun

The last few black currants that the birds haven't managed to get their beaks around. I got enough to cover the bottom of my coffee cup.

Lots of kale and chard. Nearly peas, but they're not quite there yet
