The plants in the second picture look fine. The plant on the right of the first picture does look a bit leggy but it also looks healthy. Realistically, is there anything you can do about it? Nope, so we just have to hope that the weather will improve and things will turn out OK.Originally posted by dave_100 View PostWith a week of cloud and rain forecast this week I'm a little concerned my chillies won't be getting the sunlight they need, I know they need at least 4 hours plus of sunlight. I guess they will just stagnate for a week or so?
Hoping someone can just reassure me that I'm on track for a good harvest and they aren't getting too stretchy/leggy searching for light? Here they all are.

I have quite a few flowers pollinated now with chillies coming through so I'm probably being silly, but I'm almost obsessing over the weather forecast at the moment, knowing how much sun they thrive with!
Doesn't stop me having a moan about it though!

Thanks! Yeah I think I have to see it as a positive...my first year growing chillies, this is a standard British summer, I can treat it as an expermient- those that don't fare so well I maybe wont do next year. Those that thrive in a slight lack of sun are probably ideal to do next yearOriginally posted by Mitzi View PostThe plants in the second picture look fine. My chillis and peppers are outside in two plastic mini greenhouses. I've not been able to pot them on yet, but they look happy, I already have some lovely long fat chillies from my shop bought chilli multipack. My Trinidad Perfume looks sweet, the Apache are full of flowers, and my home sown plants are coming along nicely too, they are a bit behind but will catch up soon.

No need to make me jealous! Are you in a warm part of the country?Originally posted by chillithyme View PostMy chillis and peppers are outside in two plastic mini greenhouses. I am down south, and the plants are protected too under cover
This time last year I had them outside as it was a hot summer, but it hasn't stopped raining and is very windy so I haven't dared yet.
