but with a trailer, Off Front and Back and half the roof and off you go.

I've moved a GH, split into 4 sides and 2 bits of roof on the roof rack of the car.
Bike and trailer, Trip? Or an extra pair of hands and walk it home down your quiet country road?

So current status is that I have all the glass stripped and then idiotically broke 4 panes last night when moving them home; don�t ask

This is a lean to greenhouse of approx. 6ft by 10ft and it is going up against a south facing wall of a garage�
Part of the greenhouse will sit on the footpath that is on the side of the garage, but outside of that is an uneven soil surface with beech hedging on the outer part of it. Because this is a wider greenhouse, some of the beech needs to be dug up and moved elsewhere.. I will then need to level this surface and see how it sits with some of the base on a sold concrete path and some on a soil surface Told you I was making work for myself..

It will be a tight squeeze to be honest as there is a post and rail fence running along the hedging too.
I now need to cut 3 planks to approx. width of g/h to sit it on when transporting it on a flatbed trailer. I am also hoping to put an appropriately cut length of 2� by 1� along the part that has no base frame i.e. the bottom part of the frame that butts to the wall. This is to stop it spreading all over the place in transport. I also want to remove the door and when doing so see if I can swap ends if I decide to..

I now have one of my older poly carbonate greenhouses removed and it got a good blowing around in last night�s wind, so maybe no going back for that one!

Ok so Project move Greenhouse was completed on Thursday and we got it on a trailer and safely up the road.
Took a day off work yesterday (what a beautiful day to pick ) and did a bit of jiggery pokery ( quite technical stuff) with the fence and dug up the beech hedging that was going to be in the way.
Dug out the non concrete part of the ground to make room to allow me lay concrete blocks to keep the base of the gh level..

Had some help today and laid the blocks and ta da.

Tight squeeze but it's in and screwed to the wall and the concrete path and blocks..
Quick wash and oil and I'll be ready to start putting glass on..
