First time Cucumbers

Hi all, first time on here.
I'm wanting to grow a cucumber plant under glass. Unfortunately the maximum height available is 4ft. Am I being too optimistic or can anyone advise me of a suitable type.

I live in hope.

You can train cucumbers horizontally, along canes or wires so the height isn't a problem

Thanks for your prompt reply. Sounds a good idea but that throws up another question.
My mini greenhouse is 8ft long by 2ft deep and 4ft high at the rear however I'm planning on growing 3 bush type tomato plants so I wouldn't have much space above them !

I trained my cucumbers up then along the roof of my greenhouse last year. You could also grow the cucs along the ground.

You could try the variety called Spacemaster which has shorter vines.

Agree, most if not all "Ridge"cucs can be grown outdoors.
