Great to hear it all went well Chilli Grower..
At this stage of the year, you would hope you won't need it tho..
I have 2 unheated greenhouses and have had tomatoes and chillies out in them for over a week now and they have been fine so far...there were a few nights with low temps in that time, but temps in greenhouses never dropped below approx 6 to 7 degrees...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly

6-7 is not too bad, but last night was very cold outside,
certainly dropping to 2-3 degrees when no clouds aboutLast edited by chilli_grower; 01-05-2013, 11:40 AM.

Would be interested if you were to work out cost/night and let us knowOriginally posted by Blueflame View PostMine tested ,put 2.5 Litres of paraffin in.Dipped tank and will check usage.
I reckon 250W electric for 10hours costs about 30p
(7hrs on economy7 @10p/kWh plus 3hrs @16p/kWh)I live in a part of the UK with very mild winters. Please take this into account before thinking "if he is sowing those now...."
