After all that worry and debate over whether to sell the car to pay for a tunnel, thanks to generous family and friends and a fortuitous birthday I ordered my tunnel today, and I still own my car 
I spotted that First Tunnels do gift vouchers when I ordered the school polytunnel from them last year, so I asked for them for my 40th 
With those and with what I'd saved I had enough to order a 14' x 21' ft, and First kindly swapped it to a 14' x 20' 'Super' at no extra cost because that extra foot would have left me with virtually no path 
It's being delivered in 2 weeks; the day after my OU course finishes for this year, cos if it arrived before that I'd never get the final essay completed It's going to be a biiiig job - the space it's going into is a mish-mash of different levels, riddled with couch grass and bindweed, and full of glass, and I need to dig up a bed of past-it strawberries! But hey, it's all part of the fun, right...?
