    I think it would need to be a plant that wanted to have a bigger root system than would be comfortable in a pot. Most?? fruit trees grow successfully in pots, so not sure air pots would be a benefit. I wonder about figs? even if planted in the ground they often have their roots restricted; obviously a pot would do that, but I wonder if an airpot would prune the roots more effectively?

      I have used these airpots a while back and don't rate them, i have a few young vine growing in three of them, for the long term, the idea is also to use, say, a 6 litre pot, and that would do the job of a normal 10-12 litre pot. Also, i like my pots to dry out a lot,then watering becomes a nightmare, better to soak the pot, IMO. I have also in the past grew a bit of the green stuff, again, not recommended, i went back to my adsa buckets.Theyr'e not cheap either, think i paid,about 50p a litre, 6x16 litres, and three sat in the polytunnel empty.
