        I've never had a problem with caterpillars on kale. Probably because they have gone for the other brassicas

          The netting was only of for a couple of hours there was too many butterflies to risk leaving it uncovered, instead I made another structure using taller canes and half hoops.

          Last year we didn't get hardly any Kale until the back end because they butterflies beat us to it.
          Location....East Midlands.
