  • Best Fleece Weight?

What weight of fleece do you use for tender crops/flowers sown at this time of year through to last frosts? 17gm or 30gm?

I think the stuff I have is 30g, it's green and seems to be very tough, some has been on my carrots all winter and is still doing the job and hasn't disintegrated like the usual white stuff.

I have different types but, like Bren, I double it when it seems too flimsy.
I have Aldo used sheets of newspaper onto other fleece at times.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
