Mine are popping up at speed now. You should have a white shoot with grass-like leaves coming out of the top.

Without wanting to brag....first flowers of 2016 are up! Aren't they gorgeous?

About half of my bigger corms are up above ground, but only one of the smaller ones (same size you all had) in the big tub. I might have to shift it somewhere sunnier.

They all seem to be totally dormant..............

I don't think they like my SFG bed ...!

Give them time, Susie. I have 5 up so far. It probably depends how deep you planted them

Yeah, give 'em time! I've got four up now, but they're all the ones in the middle, the ones with just a tiny bit less sun aren't up yet.

My granddaughter took me for an explore around the garden and we found 10 saffron corms coming up.

First time I have had time to get down to the bottom of the garden. I am delighted. Louisa seemed quite interested too.

                        Thanks Sparrow. X

I found Ted (the pup) sitting on mine yesterday but they've bounced back. Probably about 10 so far

I've got 6 of the little corms up, and most of the other corms in the two beds are poking up. I'm picking saffron threads at least every other day now. It's amazing how quickly the flowers develop.
