Yes still on track but will make a final decision when I taste some of the tomatoes. Don't think I put in blueberry seeds, the plants are very sulky (especially in comparison to the OSU Blue which are thriving)

Yup - absolutely. As one of my schools is closing and they are growing lots of bush toms there should be a few spare plants I can nurture after the summer hols and harvest seeds from.

Yep. Yet to decide on my second one, waiting to see which ones perform best.

I know I found this too late but, as I'm a big tomato fan, I wondered if anyone who fancied joining and missed would like to do an informal seed swap with me...though I haven't done this before so not sure how it works.

Well, we were hoping for 2, but I'll happily go along with the consensus

Basically it works as the name implies. 16 of us save seeds from 2 tomato types, who then send them on to me, along with a stamped addressed envelope big enough to hold 30 small packets of seeds, then I redistribute them. Simples!

Thats OK, hope its not a serious reason your having to give it up

i cant get to it anymore.....my car went to the big scrapyard in the sky and i dont live an easy walk/bus ride from it, so have made the sad decision to give it some one else. I'll try growing in pots/growbags next year, subject to where i move next may!.

If Binley and Brad1001 are still interested in joining, we have space now

can members tell me how many of each type of seed they are expecting?
I am starting to save the seeds now, but I havn't a clue how many I need

I don't know how many I'll be saving as I do not have any ripe toms yet. Do we need more than 5 or 6 seeds of each type? I'm only planning on growing one plant from each variety I get
