  • Chilli and Pepper Seed Circle 2021

Anyone up to it this year.

Save 1 variety or more of chilli 's with 4-6 seeds per pack.or more if you want too.

Peppers and chillies are a little more difficult to save seed, they often don't fruit and they can cross with each other. You can isolate one in the house, or one in the GH, bag the plant or a flower.
    Good luck.

      I will if I can...
I’ll see what the rules are nearer the time, but maybe I could buy certified seed which can be exported of something unusual....then maybe my children could grow the swapped seeds and give me some of the fruit, and I can get the seeds via that route.
Got to stay legal of course

I will try, but I only grow fairly mundane ones that are easy to grow lol.

Oh, I see! No worries Ms-T, I'll duck out then, I hadn't realised there were these entry requirements-I'm just looking to share/swap seeds and I don't think I'll have the time to post that much. best of luck all.

Don't worry, by the time you are saving seeds from then, you'll probably have enough posts.

I'm in. My plants are getting close to their final positions so my aim is to fully isolate a plant of each of these.

                        Sugar rush peach
                        Antep aki dolma
                        Bahamian goat

I had intended to also try armegeddon which is a British bred super hot but it's looking a bit unwell. If I get success with the little net bags I've got a few others too but who knows. The 3 above will be kept fully isolated so should be good for the swap come end of the year.

Yep, it's fine. Will post a pic of it in a few weeks when it's warmed up and romping away. Will likely bag a few early flowers to see if I can save a few seeds.
