If you buy a few of the pot grown ones, rosemary in particular you can let it grow for the summer and then take cuttings. It looks pricey to start but it's a good investment. You can't compare fresh to dried!

Quick update whilst im browsing the forum..IV DONE IT...my herb bed is looking nice. my rocket doesnt taste very strong at all though..
