Can you transplant garlic chives like leeks? That is, cutting some of the root off? If your answers are in the negative, it's too late, I've done it

Propagation: Garlic chives sprout easily from seed, after which they can easily be propagated by clump division, or you can just buy the plants.
So I would say yes as roots are invariably snapped & or cut during clump divisionHe who smiles in the face of adversity,has already decided who to blame
