Drying herbs....?

I've got lots of herbs at the moment, the sunshine and rain has made them go crazy!

I was thinking, how can I best dry them to use later in the year? Can I hang them up in my polytunnel (providing they don't get damp/wet through the irrigation) - it's getting up to about 30 degrees at the moment...

On the washing line in the sun?

The house isn't really that warm, and neither is the garage...

I hang mine on one of those mini airers which hang up, in my boiler cupboard - quite dark and dry but warm...it seems to work...hope that helps

I prefer to chop them and freeze in ice cube trays.
