Having discovered another Lovage plant in the front garden this summer, I was just in time to harvest the dried seeds today before they fell to the ground. I've never harvested Lovage Seeds before, so I'm just 'chuffed to bits', obviously.....
I've also harvested as many of the youngest leaves as I can this morning, it being a dry day, to try and preserve some of the freshness of this beautiful herb before our English Climate grabs an Autumnal hold over it.
Pick it, and I dare you not to swoon over the smell of it as you lay the bunch down in the kitchen.X
