Thyme going downhill

Well, Yet another new plant purchased from the supermarket, split into 2 plants, potted on in new Compost. One dead and the other going the same way. 😔

Thyme from supermarkets has been force grown under lights. You can see how stretched and 'tender' they look. Also you don't know the variety grwon, some are more cold hardy than others.
You're expecting too much, too soon I'd suggest, from that thyme where each piece is probably one poorly grown plant.
