I have a small triangle of creeping thyme in my back garden. I grew it from seed. It doesn't need MUCH maintenance but is a right pain to weed (normal grass gets in there as well as the odd weed here and there) and you do have to trim it back every year to stop it creeping over all the path. It can't take a lot of foot traffic but is fine now and then and smells lovely.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
