I picked some chives. Does that count?

Now mixed with cream cheese for the jalapeņo peppers

Potted up a Bronze Fennel seedling, weeded the Thyme edged bed, pulled up lots of wandering Lemon Balm, stroked the Dill.

Took a few cuttings of lemon verbena, African Blue Bush Basil and Aristotle Basil.
Hopefully the lemon verbena will survive the winter for next year, and the basils will provide me with little snippings to sprinkle on winter salads.

Thanks farendwoman I’d not heard of African blue bush basil. Just googled it. I’m going to get me some of that for my new garden. That looks lovely.

Yes it’s a super plant. Flowers taste just as good as the leaves, so I sprinkle them all over salads and rice.
It’s lovely as a cut flower too.

Rain stopped play this Herbs Day but I did chop back the Skopelos Mint that is blocking the door into the GH and threw the prunings into the chicken run.
Also dug up lots of Lemon Balm that's in the wrong place.

                    Herbs I have growing

                    Chives - currently flowering
                    Curled parsley
                    Leaf celery
                    Sage
                    Italian parsley
                    Sorrel
                    Rosemary
                    Oregano
                    Mint

I'm trying to get summer and winter savory to grow with no luck, yet again. I may try germinating them under lights if they don't do something soon.

I'm also trying to germinate creeping thyme, which is technically a herb.

Picked mint to go in a salad, then watered the basil on a bedroom windowsill.

                          In the garden
                          Parsley
                          Chervil
                          Fennel
                          Lovage
                          Pennyroyal for the cabbages
                          Coriander
Creeping and winter savory, summer going to seed now
                          Thyme silver and broadleaved
My basil was once again sown direct as per Seeds of Italy man advice at show last year and once again it is useless. Might be alright if I was actually in Italy I suppose.......
Also made a good bouquet garni with parsley thyme savory lovage and a bay leaf

Cut down a lot of mint, marjoram and lemon balm that were overhanging a path, weighed down by the rain. My legs (and the dogs) were getting soaked each time we walked that way. Threw the cuttings into the chook run for them to enjoy.

Here are some of the seedlings I sowed a few weeks ago - chervil, coriander and parsley and a spearmint sown previously.
