Fern/weed ID?

This plant has appeared in a pot.....anyone know what it is....the fern, with strap like leaves and tassels Thank you.

I've got a lot of it and keep cutting it back as I hate it and seeds all over the place. I'm afraid I have no idea what it is but I assume some sort of grass.

Hi, it�s Carex pendula, common name Pendulous Sedge.

It�s a bit of a thug, seeds everywhere, can grow anywhere, seedlings come up years after the parent plant went to the great compost heap in the sky.

It does dig out easily if not allowed to get too big a clump.

Thank you....I think I will compost it, I have way to many things that are thugs and reseed everywhere.
