    Looks like the Weigela, Madame M.
    I cut back the branches that have flowered and it sends up new green stems. I've found it to be as tough as old boots so don't worry about giving it a haircut.

      What VC says. Chop it back now and it will flower again next spring. You can use shears, it won't mind.
